Install Microsoft 365 Apps

Each Microsoft 365 app has its own dedicated add-in. Install them individually for the apps you use.

Outlook

Install the add-in

  1. Open Outlook (web or desktop)
  2. Click Get Add-ins or Apps
  3. Search for “ChatGPT AI for Outlook”
  4. Click Add
  5. Grant the necessary permissions

Open ChatGPT AI for Outlook

  1. In Outlook, click the ChatGPT AI for Outlook icon in the ribbon
  2. The panel will open

Draft your first email

  1. Start composing an email or select an existing email
  2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., “Draft a professional reply to this email”)
  3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

OneNote

Install the add-in

  1. Open OneNote
  2. Click Insert in the menu
  3. Select Get Add-ins
  4. Search for “ChatGPT for OneNote”
  5. Click Add
  6. Grant the necessary permissions

Open ChatGPT for OneNote

  1. In OneNote, click the ChatGPT for OneNote icon
  2. The panel will open

Enhance your notes

  1. Select text in your notes
  2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., “Summarize these notes and extract action items”)
  3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

Teams

Install the app

  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Click Apps in the left sidebar
  3. Search for “CoreGPT AI MeetSync”
  4. Click Add
  5. Grant the necessary permissions

Open CoreGPT AI MeetSync

  1. In Teams, click the CoreGPT AI MeetSync icon
  2. The panel will open

Write better messages

  1. Start composing a message or select an existing message
  2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., “Improve the tone of this message”)
  3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

Troubleshooting

Make sure you’re searching in the correct place:
  1. In your Microsoft 365 app, click Get Add-ins or Apps
  2. Search for the specific app name:
    • “ChatGPT AI for Outlook”
    • “ChatGPT for OneNote”
    • “CoreGPT AI MeetSync”
  3. If you still don’t see it, try clearing your browser cache
The app needs permission to access your documents:
  1. Click Grant permissions when prompted
  2. Allow access to read and modify your documents
  3. Allow display of content in panels
  4. Sign out and sign back in if the error persists
Try these steps:
  1. Refresh your browser or app
  2. Sign out and sign back in
  3. Clear your browser cache
  4. Try a different browser
  5. If the issue persists, contact support
Some organizations require admin approval for third-party apps. Contact your IT department to:
  • Approve ChatGPT AI for Outlook, ChatGPT for OneNote, and CoreGPT AI MeetSync
  • Grant the necessary permissions
Once approved, you’ll be able to install them normally.
