Installing ChatGPT AI for Workspace and Microsoft 365 apps takes just 3 simple steps. Choose your app below and follow the instructions.

Google Workspace Apps

All Google Workspace apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) use the same app: ChatGPT AI for Workspace

Google Docs

Install the add-on

  1. Open Google Docs
  2. Click Extensions in the menu
  3. Select Get add-ons
  4. Search for “ChatGPT AI for Workspace”
  5. Click Install
  6. Grant the necessary permissions

Open ChatGPT AI for Workspace

  1. In your Google Doc, click Extensions
  2. Select ChatGPT AI for Workspace
  3. Click 🚀 Launch GPT
  4. The sidebar will open on the right

Write your first prompt

  1. Select any text in your document
  2. Choose an action from the sidebar (Rewrite, Summarize, Translate, etc.)
  3. Click 🚀 Generate
  4. See the AI-powered result instantly

Google Sheets

Install the add-on

  1. Open Google Sheets
  2. Click Extensions in the menu
  3. Select Get add-ons

  1. In your Google Sheet, click Extensions

Outlook

Install the add-in

  1. Open Outlook (web or desktop)
  2. Click Get Add-ins or Apps
  3. Search for “ChatGPT AI for Outlook”
  4. Click Add
  5. Grant the necessary permissions

  1. In Outlook, click the ChatGPT AI for Outlook icon in the ribbon
  2. The panel will open

  1. Start composing an email
  2. Select text or click an action in the CoreGPT panel

  1. Open OneNote
  2. Click Insert in the menu
  3. Select Get Add-ins
  4. Search for “ChatGPT for OneNote”
  5. Click Add

  1. In OneNote, click the ChatGPT for OneNote icon
  2. The panel will open

Install the app

  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Click Apps in the left sidebar
  3. Search for “CoreGPT AI MeetSync”
  4. Click Add
  5. Grant the necessary permissions

  1. In Teams, click the CoreGPT AI MeetSync icon
  2. The panel will open

Write better messages

  1. Start composing a message
  2. Select text or click an action in the CoreGPT panel
  3. Choose an action (Draft, Improve, Summarize, etc.)
  4. Click Generate
  5. See AI-powered suggestions instantly

Troubleshooting Installation

Make sure you’re searching in the correct marketplace:
  • Google Workspace: Use the Google Workspace Marketplace and search for “ChatGPT AI for Workspace”
  • Microsoft 365: Use the Microsoft AppSource and search for the specific app name (ChatGPT AI for Outlook, ChatGPT for OneNote, CoreGPT AI MeetSync)
CoreGPT needs permission to access your documents. Click Grant permissions and allow access to:
  • Read and modify your documents
  • Display content in sidebars/panels
This is required for the app to work.
Try these steps:
  1. Refresh your browser or app
  2. Sign out and sign back in
  3. Clear your browser cache
  4. Try a different browser
If the issue persists, contact support.
Some organizations require admin approval for third-party apps. Contact your IT department to:
  • Approve ChatGPT AI for Workspace and the Microsoft 365 apps for your organization
  • Grant the necessary permissions
Once approved, you’ll be able to install them normally.
