# Uninstall CoreGPT Apps

> Step-by-step guide to uninstall ChatGPT for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 apps from your account.

## Uninstall CoreGPT Apps

If you need to uninstall ChatGPT for Google Workspace or any of the Microsoft 365 apps, follow the instructions below for your platform.

## Google Workspace Apps

### Uninstall ChatGPT for Google Workspace

ChatGPT for Google Workspace works with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms. Uninstalling it will remove it from all four apps.

    Open Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or Forms.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Extensions menu">
    Click **Extensions** in the menu bar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Manage add-ons">
    Click **Manage add-ons**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find ChatGPT for Google Workspace">
    Look for "ChatGPT for Google Workspace" in the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click the three dots">
    Click the three dots (⋮) next to the app name.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Uninstall">
    Click **Uninstall** from the dropdown menu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm uninstall">
    Click **Uninstall** again to confirm.
  </Step>

The add-on will be removed from all your Google Workspace apps immediately.

## Microsoft 365 Apps

### Uninstall CoreGPT AI for Outlook

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Outlook">
    Open Outlook (web or desktop version).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Access add-ins">
    * **Web**: Click **New Message**, then click the three dots (**...**) below the message
    * **Desktop**: Click **Home** → **Get Add-ins**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find My add-ins">
    Click **My add-ins** or **Manage add-ins**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Locate CoreGPT AI for Outlook">
    Find "CoreGPT AI for Outlook" in the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Remove the add-in">
    Click the three dots next to the app and select **Remove**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm removal">
    Click **Remove** again to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close and reopen Outlook">
    Close Outlook completely and reopen it. The add-in will be removed.

### Uninstall CoreGPT AI for Word

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Word">
    Open Microsoft Word (web or desktop version).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Access add-ins">
    * **Web**: Click **Home** → **Add-ins**
    * **Desktop**: Click **Home** → **Get Add-ins**

    Click **My add-ins** or **Manage add-ins**.

    Find "CoreGPT AI for Word" in the list.

    Close Word completely and reopen it. The add-in will be removed.

### Uninstall CoreGPT AI for Excel

    Find "CoreGPT AI for Excel" in the list.

    Click the three dots next to the app and select **Remove**.

    Close Excel completely and reopen it. The add-in will be removed.

    Open Microsoft PowerPoint (web or desktop version).

    * **Web**: Click **Home** → **Add-ins**
    * **Desktop**: Click **Home** → **Get Add-ins**

    Click **My add-ins** or **Manage add-ins**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Locate CoreGPT AI for PowerPoint">
    Find "CoreGPT AI for PowerPoint" in the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Remove the add-in">
    Click the three dots next to the app and select **Remove**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm removal">
    Click **Remove** again to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close and reopen PowerPoint">
    Close PowerPoint completely and reopen it. The add-in will be removed.

### Uninstall CoreGPT AI for OneNote

    Open OneNote (web or desktop version).

  <Step title="Access add-ins">
    Click **Insert** in the menu bar, then click **Get Add-ins**.

  <Step title="Find My add-ins">
    Click **My add-ins** or **Manage add-ins**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Locate CoreGPT AI for OneNote">
    Find "CoreGPT AI for OneNote" in the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Remove the add-in">
    Click the three dots next to the app and select **Remove**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm removal">
    Click **Remove** again to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close and reopen OneNote">
    Close OneNote completely and reopen it. The add-in will be removed.

### Uninstall CoreGPT AI MeetSync for Teams

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Microsoft Teams">
    Open Teams in your web browser or desktop app.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Access apps">
    Click **Apps** in the left sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find CoreGPT AI MeetSync">
    Search for "CoreGPT AI MeetSync" or find it in your installed apps.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open app options">
    Click the three dots (**...**) next to the app name.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Remove the app">
    Click **Remove** from the dropdown menu.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm removal">
    Click **Remove** again to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close and reopen Teams">
    Close Teams completely and reopen it. The app will be removed.
  </Step>

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="I can't find the add-in in the list">
    Make sure you're looking in the correct place:

    * **Google Workspace**: Extensions → Manage add-ons
    * **Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint**: Home → Get Add-ins → My add-ins
    * **OneNote**: Insert → Get Add-ins → My add-ins
    * **Teams**: Apps → search for the app name
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The uninstall button is grayed out">
    This usually means you don't have permission to uninstall. Contact your IT administrator if you're on a work account.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The app is still showing after uninstall">
    Try these steps:

    1. Clear your browser cache
    2. Sign out completely
    3. Sign back in
    4. Refresh the page

    If the issue persists, contact support.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I'm on a work account and can't uninstall">
    Your organization may have restricted uninstall permissions. Contact your IT department to:

    * Request permission to uninstall the app
    * Or uninstall it for you
