# Install Microsoft 365 Apps

> Step-by-step guide to install CoreGPT AI for Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams.

## Install Microsoft 365 Apps

Each Microsoft 365 app has its own dedicated add-in. Install them individually for the apps you use.

### Outlook

<Steps>

    1. Open Outlook (web or desktop)
    2. Click **Get Add-ins** or **Apps**
    3. Search for "CoreGPT AI for Outlook"
    4. Click **Add**
    5. Grant the necessary permissions

    1. In Outlook, click the **CoreGPT AI for Outlook** icon in the ribbon
    2. The panel will open
  </Step>

  <Step title="Draft your first email">
    1. Start composing an email or select an existing email
    2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., "Draft a professional reply to this email")
    3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

### Word

    1. Open Microsoft Word (web or desktop)
    2. Click **Insert** in the menu
    3. Select **Get Add-ins**
    4. Search for "CoreGPT AI for Word"
    5. Click **Add**
    6. Grant the necessary permissions

    1. In Word, click the **CoreGPT AI for Word** icon
    2. The panel will open

    1. Select text in your document or position your cursor where you want to generate content
    2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., "Rewrite this in a professional tone")
    3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

### Excel

    1. Open Microsoft Excel (web or desktop)
    2. Click **Insert** in the menu
    3. Select **Get Add-ins**
    4. Search for "CoreGPT AI for Excel"
    5. Click **Add**
    6. Grant the necessary permissions

    3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

### PowerPoint

    1. Open Microsoft PowerPoint (web or desktop)
    2. Click **Insert** in the menu
    3. Select **Get Add-ins**
    4. Search for "CoreGPT AI for PowerPoint"
    5. Click **Add**
    6. Grant the necessary permissions

    1. Click on a slide or select text you want to work with
    2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., "Generate speaker notes for this slide")
    3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

### OneNote

    1. Open OneNote
    2. Click **Insert** in the menu
    3. Select **Get Add-ins**
    4. Search for "CoreGPT AI for OneNote"
    5. Click **Add**
    6. Grant the necessary permissions

    1. In OneNote, click the **CoreGPT AI for OneNote** icon
    2. The panel will open

    1. Select text in your notes

    3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel

### Teams

<Steps>
  <Step title="Install the app">
    1. Open Microsoft Teams
    2. Click **Apps** in the left sidebar
    3. Search for "CoreGPT AI MeetSync"
    4. Click **Add**
    5. Grant the necessary permissions

  <Step title="Open CoreGPT AI MeetSync">
    1. In Teams, click the **CoreGPT AI MeetSync** icon
    2. The panel will open
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write better messages">
    1. Start composing a message or select an existing message
    2. Type your request in the chat box (e.g., "Improve the tone of this message")
    3. The AI will process your request and show results in the chat panel
  </Step>

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="I don't see the app in Microsoft AppSource">
    Make sure you're searching in the correct place:

    1. In your Microsoft 365 app, click **Get Add-ins** or **Apps**
    2. Search for the specific app name:
       * "CoreGPT AI for Outlook"
       * "CoreGPT AI for Word"
       * "CoreGPT AI for Excel"
       * "CoreGPT AI for PowerPoint"
       * "CoreGPT AI for OneNote"
       * "CoreGPT AI MeetSync"
    3. If you still don't see it, try clearing your browser cache
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I'm getting a permission error">
    The app needs permission to access your documents:

    1. Click **Grant permissions** when prompted
    2. Allow access to read and modify your documents
    3. Allow display of content in panels
    4. Sign out and sign back in if the error persists
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The app won't open">
    Try these steps:

    1. Refresh your browser or app
    2. Sign out and sign back in
    3. Clear your browser cache
    4. Try a different browser
    5. If the issue persists, contact support
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need admin approval?">
    Some organizations require admin approval for third-party apps. Contact your IT department to:

    * Approve CoreGPT AI for Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams
    * Grant the necessary permissions

    Once approved, you'll be able to install them normally.
